Today, Susanne invited some family and friends over for a little get together so I could meet everyone! By everyone, I mean Michael's sons, Andreas and Magnus, Susanne's sister, Martine and her son, Thierry, a family friend (and fellow American), Erica, and one of Susanne's oldest friends, Karen. First, we went out for a walk to the sea because it was freezing over and that doesn't happen very often I guess. It was a perfect (freezing), sunny day and you can see Sweden right across Øresund (one of the straits that drains into the Baltic). Then we walked back to "Nivå Mountain" and home again. At home, we had soup and bread and homemade jams and hummus and then cake for dessert! Michael made his famous banana cake and Susanne made an apple cake and a forest berry cake. After dessert, we all played "ten thousand", a dice game that I am the reigning champ of:) There really are not enough words to describe how much I love it here.
