Upon returning from long study tour week, my computer decided to crash. Went slow at first, a couple clicks when turning on, then to a quiet, steady hum, and by Wednesday, I was worried it was either going to blow up or take off. Woof. Anyway, as I mentioned before, it came at a rather inopportune time, as I had about 3 assignments/exams for every class due in the 2 weeks between study tour and spring break. I quickly bought a hard drive and had my school's IT department back everything up --which took 6 days too long. At any rate, they backed it all up, tightened some screws, and for the time being, my computer is fragile but stable. Nikolai's family came to the rescue and gave me a laptop to use and I got all of my work done.
Okay, enough about the computer. In spite of all the nonsense, I managed to make it a pretty good two weeks. On Monday night, I made veggie burgers for Susanne and Michael. Tuesday, Julia came over after class to spend the night because we had a field study for our criminology class the next morning. After watching yet another violent crime film, we came back to my house, did an Insanity workout (which we have been doing fairly consistently), practiced for our Danish oral exam, and then made dinner for Susanne. Due to some unfortunate timing issues, we only finished cooking our stew (more affectionally known as "Big Sue's Big Stew") 10 minutes before we had to leave for the ballet (La Bayadere). So naturally we packed ourselves some to go containers, grabbed a bottle of wine, and headed for the train where we feasted and drank on the 45 minute ride to the theater. Love DK.
Friday night, all the MPP girls (aka C-section) got together at Gayin's house. Made some appetizers, cooked some dinner (Big Sue's Big Stew, of course), drank some wine... while listening to Frank Sinatra and ... lol jokes. We rocked out to "house party jamz 2013" for 2 hours. After dinner we got all dolled up and hit the town.. well, the meat packing district. Fun night. Good times. Love the crew.

On Saturday, Susanne and Michael took Niklas, Sebastian, Christie, Nikolai, and I to see HAIR the musical.. in Danish. Fortunately, there is not much of a plot to speak of.. just a lot of naked hippies with rockin bods and great hair dancing around the stage.. and on top of the front row audience members. Luckily(?), I was one of said audience members; youtube link for the musical <--- click... yup, definitely lucky. At the end, they actually pulled Niklas, Christie, Nikolai, and I up on stage to dance, so, there's that too.
The rest of the weekend/start of the following week was devoted to writing up a patient case and a ballet take home exam essay, studying for my MPP exam and my Danish oral exam, and a million other things that I won't bore you with.
On Thursday, my week was essentially over, and Julia and I went back to her house to make some pinterest appetizers and get ready for MADS LANGER. The concert was SO much fun and Mads (we're on first name basis) was brilliant. And so precious.

After the concert, I went back home to finish packing and then I was off to Rome the next morning to start one of the best weeks of my life with Mom:) In a few hours, I'll have the Italy blog up (and pictures from the musical)!
